The National Institutes of Health (NIH) has extended the U.S.–Japan Brain Research Cooperative Program administrative supplements. NIDA is participating in the Notice of Special Interest, NOT-NS-20-024, which promotes scientist exchange, training, and collaborations in basic, translational, and clinical research between neuroscientists from the United States and Japan. U.S. researchers with currently active NIDA grants in select mechanisms may apply for 1 year of funding to support collaborative research or scientific workshops with Japanese partners. Applications must be submitted using the administrative supplement funding opportunity, PA-18-591.
