Andrew Levine

Dr. Levine’s general area of expertise is NeuroAIDS. Within that area, he is particularly interested in genetic/genomic/epigenomic biomarkers of HIV-associated neurocognitive disorder (HAND), the effect of substance abuse on HAND, psychometric methods for assessing HAND, and the impact of CNS opportunistic infections on neurocognitive outcomes.

Dr. Levine’s group includes systems biologists, virologists, neuroimagers, and geneticists. Dr. Levine is associate adjunct Professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of California, Los Angeles.
