Cliff speaking:

My name is Cliff, I’m 52 years old and I’m a family physician in a small town about an hour from here and I’m a recovering alcoholic and drug addict… for over 15 years now I’ve been in recovery.

Interviewer speaking:

What is the most important thing you've learned through addiction and recovery?

Cliff speaking:

Well the one thing that I would want to say to anybody, and particularly if they’re in the profession or something like that is, don’t let the fear and shame hold you back, there’s help out there.

It’s not a weakness to reach out for help, it’s actually a true strength and courage.

You don’t have to do it alone.

You shouldn’t do it alone.
