Smoking Treatment Research Studies at the National Institutes of Health
Smokers and ex-smokers are invited to take part in paid treatment research studies at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) that seek a better understanding of nicotine dependence.
If you are a current smoker who wants to quit, a former smoker or a current smoker who isn’t ready to quit yet you may be eligible to participate in our research.
- Receive between $380 and $1,700* for your time and travel expenses.
- Individualized counseling and medication or e-cigarettes available at no cost to those seeking to quit smoking
- Flexible/weekend appointments available
The research is conducted on the Johns Hopkins Bayview campus at 251 Bayview Blvd, Suite 200 Baltimore, MD 21224. Free parking is provided to research participants.
