Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day

2007–Ongoing

National Drugs & Alcohol Facts Chat Day logo

Every year, Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day provides students the opportunity to ask leading researchers questions about drug use and addiction, as well as the associated health effects and risks. Top scientists from the National Institute on Drug Abuse go live online to answer your questions about drugs and their impact on the teen brain and body. During DRUGS & ALCOHOL CHAT DAY, students can ask some of our nation's experts about drug use, misuse of prescription drugs, as well as vaping, which is becoming a growing problem among our nation's teens. Learn more about NIDA’s next Drugs & Alcohol Chat Day, as well as view transcripts from past chats.
