The U.S. Department of State Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program is marking its 40th anniversary with special events. Fellows from sub-Saharan Africa are invited to an alumni conference September 12–15, 2018, in Johannesburg, South Africa. The conference will focus on trends in economic development, good governance, and the current fields of study. The October 2019 Global Leadership Forum also will focus on the anniversary.
The NIDA Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowships are a component of the larger State Department program. Since 1990, NIDA and the State Department have supported more than 330 NIDA Humphrey fellows from 93 countries. Learn more about the NIDA Humphrey Fellowships here.
