Revised January 2020
The NIDA Office of Acquisitions (OA) supports the National Institutes of Health missions for the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA), the National Institute of Mental Health and the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) through planning, soliciting, negotiating, awarding and administering biomedical and behavioral research and development (R&D) contracts, contracts for direct support of R&D, station support contracts and simplified acquisitions. For more information, review the following:
- Finding Contract Opportunities
- NIDA OA Bid Board
- R&D/R&D Support/Non-R&D Opportunities
- Justifications for Other Than Full and Open Competition
NIDA OA publicizes and posts all business opportunities on the beta.SAM.gov (formerly the Federal Business Opportunities) website which are expected to exceed the threshold published in FAR 5.101(a)(1).
In addition, NIDA OA posts individual notices of proposed actions with estimated values contained in FAR 5.101(a)(2) on the Bid Board on this website.
All interested parties must contact the Point of Contact (POC) identified under the proposed action to request a copy of the Solicitation or Request for Quote (RFQ), if available. All responsible sources may submit proposals or quotes that will be considered, if received prior to the closing date/time.
We do not maintain a separate Bidders Mailing List to automatically send prospective vendors copies of solicitations. We encourage you to take advantage of other methods to identify business opportunities. We encourage any organization interested in doing business with the Government to register in the System for Award Management (SAM). We do use SBA’s ‘Dynamic Small Business Search” as a primary database to identify small and disadvantaged businesses to fulfill our requirements.
The following are notice(s) of proposed actions with estimated values contained in FAR 5.101(a)(2). Request for Quotations (RFQs) are not posted on this page. Interested parties must contact the Contact Points identified in the individual action to request a copy of the RFQ or with any questions. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that, if received before the closing date and time, shall be considered by the Government.
The Request for Proposals (RFPs) listed below are those issued by the NIDA Office of Acquisition for major acquisitions (generally FAR Part 15 actions) in the R&D, R&D Support or Non-R&D areas. These actions may be found under the beta.SAM.gov (formerly Federal Business Opportunities) website. For a complete listing of all RFPs issued for contracts under NIH and other Federal Government agencies, please review the website at beta.SAM.gov.
To access an RFP, click on the RFP Number listed in the table below. This will link you directly to the beta.sam.gov website. Questions and/or clarifications on the OA requirements, should be directed to the applicable NIDA OA contact person listed in the individual RFPs.
If you intend to submit a proposal in response to a NIDA RFP, please notify the NIDA OA contact person identified in the individual RFP. It is recommended that you also register under the RFP of interest, in beta.SAM.gov, to receive notification of additional information and any amendments. All information necessary for proposal submission is detailed in each RFP.
