Single-Sole Source Determination
It is critical that we use the same protocols and assays with the rest of the samples to maintain the integrity of the data that already collected and analyzed and to maximize the possibility of generating comparable data. Not using the same assays and protocols will result in not being able to compare the previous data with the new data that will be generated.
Background/Description of Requirement

The proposed project will examine changes in gene expression of different cell subsets that was purified from human peripheral blood.  Cytapheresis packs were collected from volunteers and cells fractioned by a combination of magnetic bead purification and flow cytometry.  RNA extracts will be prepared at the NIA and provided to Novogene facility for library preparation and sequencing.

Novogene will carry out deep sequencing using Illumina Novaseq 6000 PE150.  The contractor will provide the government with FASTQ files of the data for computational analyses at NIA.
