Dr. Galea is a physician and an epidemiologist. His primary research has been on the causes of behavioral disorders, particularly substance abuse and common mood anxiety disorders.
Dr. Patrizia Carrieri is a researcher at the French National Institute of Health and Medical research (INSERM). She has a background in methods for epidemiologic research. Her research interests focus on access to care and prevention of HIV and HCV in people who use drugs (PWUD).
Dr. Beyrer, Director of the Johns Hopkins Fogarty AIDS International Training and Research Program and of the Johns Hopkins Center for Public Health and Human Rights, has extensive experience in conducting international collaborative research and training programs.
Dr. Altice is Professor of Medicine, Clinical Epidemiologist and researcher at the Yale University School of Medicine. Dr. Altice’s primary research projects examine the relationship between the community and correctional settings, focusing on infectious diseases and substance abuse.
