Join the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) International Program for the 2024 NIDA International Forum, which will be held June 14–15, 2024, at the Fairmont the Queen Elizabeth Hotel in Montreal, Canada. The nearest international airport is Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport.
The Forum research symposium, poster session, and network-building activities focus on the range and quality of drug use and addiction research conducted around the world. Participants meet talented colleagues and learn about drug use and addiction research and policy issues in other countries, as well as the NIDA-supported fellowships and other programs that can support international collaborations. There is no fee to attend the NIDA International Forum.
Registration
Online registration for the 2024 Forum is now closed. Registration via email is still available or you may register on-site at the Forum. There is no registration fee to attend the NIDA International Forum.
If you are planning to attend the Forum and wish to register in advance, send an email to ip@nida.nih.gov with the following information:
- Your first/given name
- Your last/family name
- The name and full mailing address for your organization, including the name of the city and country
- Your role within the organization

The NIDA International Program is no longer accepting research poster abstracts and travel award requests.
Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the NIDA International Research Poster Session scheduled as the joint NIDA International Forum and the College on Problems of Drug Dependence (CPDD) Workshop.
Travel Award Request
Award Notification: March 2024
The NIDA International Program is no longer accepting research poster abstracts and travel award requests.
Travel awards will be announced with abstract selections and amounts will be confirmed within the selection notices. A participant will be considered for a travel award if he or she completed the travel award question during the abstract submission process.
