New Fellows Get Oriented to Research Resources in U.S.

Earlier this month, the NIDA International Program welcomed 27 fellows from as many nations as part of an orientation for new fellowship awardees. International Program Director Steven W. Gust, Ph.D., and Associate Director Dale Weiss hosted the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellows from Virginia Commonwealth University and Johns Hopkins University, who were joined by NIDA INVEST and INVEST/CTN fellows for the 3-day orientation.

INVEST/CTN Fellowships Contribute to Clinical Research Advances

Recently, two INVEST/Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Drug Abuse Research Fellows completed their 12-month postdoctoral fellowships, having acquired significant experience in conducting clinical trials and genotyping, respectively:

NIDA Welcomes New Fellows

NIDA staff welcomed 26 fellows from 22 nations as part of an orientation for new fellowship awardees. International Program Director Dr. Steven W. NIDA has selected researchers from Australia, Chile, and India as INVEST-Clinical Trials Network (CTN) Fellows for 2010–2011:

INVEST/CTN Drug Abuse Research Fellowship

The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) International Program and Clinical Trials Network (CTN) have joined forces to offer INVEST/CTN Fellowships to non-U.S. scientists who will work with a mentor affiliated with 1 of the 13 CTN Regional Research and Training Centers.
