DISCA Team Examines PTSD and Substance Use Disorders

Brady, M.D., Ph.D., Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC), will use her NIDA Distinguished International Scientist Collaboration Award (USDISCA) to extend her research collaboration with Maree Teesson, Ph.D., Australian National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre (NDARC), University of New South Wales.

Australian State Honors Director for Developing Online Master's Degree in Addiction Studies

The University of Adelaide Director of the International Programme in Addiction Studies (IPAS), Femke Buisman-Pijlman, Ph.D., M.Sc., has received a State Teaching Award for her innovative work around online learning and developing the IPAS program. Dr. Buisman-Pijlman was named Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics Early Career Educator of the Year in tertiary teaching.
