Document management provides a knowledge sharing environment for storing, and distributing information for NIDA and their external contractors. It provides a collaborative environment between NIDA and clinical researchers to manage documents, streamline project information, improve business process and share information.

Livelink

LiveLink

Livelink is an Electronic Content Management (ECM) solution that enables document management, knowledge sharing, virtual team collaboration, information retrieval, and business process automation. NIDA and their sponsored clinical trials use Livelink to support their day-to-day operations.

Livelink allows users to contribute content in a variety of unstructured forms across organizational and geographic barriers. Users can access, contribute, and communicate knowledge within Livelink work areas, forming virtual teams. Business processes are supported by Livelink's workflows such as Request for Task Order (RTO) for streamlining the task award process and Clinical Trials Performance Payment (CTPP) workflow to pay clinical trial sites based on site performance.
