Glenda Conroy became the Associate Director for Management/Executive Officer in January 2012. As Executive Officer, Glenda oversees the NIDA Office of Management which provides support services to staff in multiple areas including but not limited to acquisitions, administrative management, financial management, grants and information resource management.
Glenda previously worked at the HHS Program Support Center (PSC) where she served as the Deputy Chief Financial Officer. Prior to working at the PSC, she served as the Director of Financial Enterprise Solutions and Deputy Director of Financial Management at the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Glenda retired from the U.S. military as a Captain in the Air Force Reserves.
Glenda has an MBA from St. Francis University; Master’s Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University; Project Management Professional certification; a BS in Business Information Systems from the University of Pittsburgh; and is a certified public accountant, information systems auditor and internal auditor.
