New Approaches in Mouse Genetics
 

 


The purpose of this symposium is to familiarize the neuroscience community with new approaches in mouse genetics. These new approaches now make it possible to positionally clone mutations without any knowledge of the underlying biological process; identify modifier genes; control the place and time where a mutation is expressed; and create new animal models of complex genetic diseases.
