C. Kendall, Ph.D.
Dr. Kendall is the Laura H. Carnell professor of psychology
and head of the Division of Clinical Psychology at Temple University,
where he has been a prolific writer, researcher, and teacher with numerous
editorial and academic leadership responsibilities. His publications
have impacted both research methodology and the issues defining clinical
practice while providing several examples of sound treatment outcome
studies. He is the director of the Child and Adolescent Anxiety Disorders
Clinic, where he has developed and evaluated cognitive behavioral treatments
for anxiety in youth. His work in this area has been widely disseminated
and is currently being evaluated in ongoing efficacy and effectiveness
studies. He will soon begin a study to compare child-focused and family-focused
interventions.
